Jenna Coleman stepped out of the Tardis onto the sunshine of College Street as filming continued for the BBC Christmas blockbuster Death Comes To Pemberley.

Miss Coleman plays the role of Lydia Wyckham. In the original book by PD James, which develops a new story around the characters of Jane Austen’s Pride And Prejudice, Lydia’s husband is killed, shattering the peace of Pemberley.

Crowds of locals and visitors have been gathering around College Green to watch the filming take place. In her striking red coat with gold detail and riding hat, they could not fail to spot Miss Coleman, who first came to national prominence as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale.

Death Comes To Pemberley is supported by Screen Yorkshire, and has also filmed scenes at the Treasurer’s House in York, as well as Castle Howard and Harewood House. (source)

I have to say: Jenna looks really gorgeous! Can’t wait for more filming pics to come out!
