RADIO TIMES – Dame Maggie Smith*, Aidan Turner, Jenna Coleman, Charlie Brooker and Rowan Atkinson have all joined the star-studded line-up for the BFI & Radio Times Television Festival, added to a bill that already includes Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Michael Palin, Julie Walters and Keeley Hawes.

ONE TO ONE CHILDREN’S FUND – Our Ambassador Jenna Coleman is taking a break from Doctor Who to put herself up for auction at our gala, Stardust, and to help rebuild children’s lives!

Attendees at the gala on November 1st will gather in the historic Banqueting House, Whitehall, to out-bid each other for the chance to meet the star over tea, and enjoy a wide range of entertainment.

Jenna is going to guest at Fan Expo Canada, that will take place @ the Metro Toronto Convention Centre – September 3 to 6. At the moment, there are no further infos on the days Jenna will attend and on the prices for autopgrahs or photos op. But be sure to keep the Convention Site and Twitter checked for any news!

San Diego ComicCon 2015

DOCTOR WHO OFFICIAL – Doctor Who returns to San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 9. Following his record-breaking debut season as the Doctor, Peter Capaldi will make his first ever appearance at the event with Jenna Coleman (Clara), Michelle Gomez (Missy), lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat and executive producer Brian Minchin.

Peter Capaldi commented, ‘Tales of San Diego Comic-Con are told in awe on every set around the known fantasy/sci-fi production world. It’s become a fabled kingdom. One I am thrilled to find myself heading for. And to appear in the legendary Hall H is a further twist to the cosplay and comic madness I may never recover from.’

The new season of Doctor Who premieres later this year, opening with a two-part adventure, The Magician’s Apprentice and The Witch’s Familiar, written by Steven Moffat, produced by Peter Bennett and directed by Hettie Macdonald (Blink – the Hugo Award-winning episode that introduced the Weeping Angels). The adventure will, of course, see the return of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman as the Doctor and Clara but it will also see Michelle Gomez back as the evil Missy…(source)

Doctor Who stars Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman are to feature in two special editions of Blue Peter dedicated to the BBC sci-fi show, which celebrates its 50th anniversary later this month.

Coleman, who plays the Doctor’s current companion Clara Oswald, will answer viewers’ questions in a pre-recorded segment for the Doctor Who: Blue Peter Special on the CBBC channel at 5:30pm on Thursday 21 November, with 11th Doctor Matt Smith following her in the Doctor Who: Blue Peter Party at 9:30am on Saturday 23 November – 50 years to the day after the first ever episode of Doctor Who was broadcast.

The first Blue Peter special will also see the launch of a competition giving young fans the chance to design a sonic device for one of three Doctor Who characters – Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax – while the Saturday edition will see a live audience joined in the studio by aliens from the series and challenged to design their very own monster.
